"Friends of the Fest" - Church Sponsorship of MFT:
MissionFest is so thankful to our supporting churches, we would not be able to continue without your help and it is that time of the year again when we invite Church Congregations to sign up as Friends to help make MFT 2010 happen!!!
We sincerely need your support more than ever this year and MFT is launching a brand new program called Friends of the Fest and it only takes a $300 donation or more to sign up your church!
When you think of the hundreds of thousands of people who have attended MissionFest weekends at the six locations across the country over the past 26 years (15 for us in Toronto) and the thousands of people who are now on the mission field all over the globe as a result, you know you are part of an amazing thing that God is doing here in Canada!
We are working so that your congregation will get to meet over 200 missionaries who are on the ground in every remote corner of the world this April; there are so many unreached people groups, even right here in our city. Last year our Christian Farmers Association booth shared the Gospel by giving out wooden walking sticks and led hundreds to the Lord right at MissionFest! Many were taught how to share their faith with family, friends and neighbours and others were inspired to change their life and GO.

I want to invite your church to financially support MissionFest this year so we can keep the spotlight on missions for the entire Southern Ontario region and encourage people to engage!
I think MissionFest is a wonderful opportunity for people all across the city of Toronto to come and meet folks who are really on the job taking the Gospel here and globally, and being inspired by that. Because the natural default position of the church is to become maintenance driven, to become protective, to become concerned about our own well being rather than about the purpose churches came into existence which is to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the world. The Exhibit Hall tells you a multitude of things going on. I know people who have been here who have picked up a piece of literature, seen pictures or heard something and the result has been that they have asked God “Do you want me to get involved in this?” and God has led them and called them into some kind of work
